Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. The Tutor will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping students build confidence in their abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or group math tutoring sessions to students across different age ranges and skill levels
Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding core concepts in math
Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians
Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates students to succeed

Requirements

Experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings
Strong knowledge of math, computer science, or related subjects; classroom experience is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds
Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
