Full job description

Location: Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House – Strathroy, ON

Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House is looking for an experienced Temporary Hiring Lead to support our restaurant during a leadership transition. This role is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding team members while helping maintain the high standards our guests expect.

This is a temporary position, with the potential for a permanent leadership opportunity based on business needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Create and manage job postings on hiring platforms.
Review resumes and screen applicants.
Schedule and conduct interviews.
Coordinate working interviews and make hiring recommendations.
Complete onboarding and ensure all employment documentation is accurate.
Maintain employee records and hiring files.
Work closely with ownership to identify staffing needs.
Assist with scheduling, staffing coverage, and other leadership responsibilities as required.
Support daily restaurant operations and uphold company standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in a breakfast restaurant is required.
Experience with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding restaurant staff is required.
Strong knowledge of breakfast restaurant operations and high-volume service.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
Proficient with computers, email, and online hiring platforms.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.

Please Note:
Breakfast restaurant management or leadership experience is mandatory. Applicants without breakfast restaurant leadership experience will not be considered for this position.
