About the Role We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Team Manager, Inside Sales (B2B) to lead a team of six Inside Sales Representatives responsible for generating new B2B business through outbound prospecting and cold calling. This is a business development leadership role, not an account management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high-performance outbound sales culture, coaching and mentoring representatives, improving sales processes, monitoring activity and conversion metrics, and ensuring the team consistently achieves company revenue and business development targets. The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader and coach who knows how to motivate a team, develop individual performers, identify performance gaps, and turn KPI data into actionable coaching and results. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Coaching

Lead, motivate and develop a team of six Inside Sales Representatives.
Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to improve individual and team results.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, call reviews and performance coaching sessions.
Listen to sales calls and provide constructive feedback on messaging, objection handling, questioning and closing techniques.
Identify individual strengths and development areas and create targeted coaching plans.
Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Lead by example and actively participate in the team's sales environment.

Business Development & Outbound Sales

Manage a high-volume outbound B2B prospecting operation focused on acquiring new customers and new business opportunities.
Ensure representatives consistently execute cold-calling, prospecting, lead-generation and appointment-setting activities.
Help the team identify and qualify prospective businesses and key decision-makers.
Coach representatives on effective opening statements, discovery questions, value propositions and objection handling.
Develop strategies to improve contact rates, qualified opportunities, appointments and conversion rates.
Work with the team to develop new business within targeted industries and markets.
Maintain a strong focus on pipeline generation and revenue-producing activity.

KPI & Performance ManagementEstablish, monitor and manage daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs. Track metrics such as:

Outbound calls
Conversations/connect rates
Decision-maker contacts
Qualified leads
Appointments/meetings booked
Opportunities generated
Conversion rates
Pipeline value
Revenue generated
Individual and team attainment against targets
Analyze performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
Hold the team accountable to agreed activity and revenue targets.
Provide management with regular reporting on team performance, pipeline and forecast.
Take corrective action quickly when performance is below expectations.
Establish best practices for cold calling and B2B business development.
Test and refine sales approaches based on team performance and market response.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience managing or leading an inside sales, telesales, business development or outbound sales team.
Proven experience managing B2B outbound sales and cold-calling environments.
Demonstrated success coaching and developing sales representatives.
Strong understanding of sales KPIs, activity metrics, conversion rates and pipeline management.
Proven ability to establish targets and consistently drive a team toward achieving them.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable having difficult performance conversations and holding people accountable.
Hands-on management style with a genuine interest in coaching and developing people.

Artificial intelligence may be used in the screening and assessment of applicants.
