Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires analytical and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software, to effectively support our day-to-day financial operations.

Previous experience in property management is considered an asset and is preferred. Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Utilize QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software for bookkeeping tasks.
Conduct data entry with precision to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
Assist in financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Engage in negotiations with vendors and clients as necessary to maintain positive relationships.
Maintain organized records of all financial documents for easy retrieval and reference.
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial services.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft is preferred.
Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and reconciliation processes.
Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for math and data analysis.
Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for effective communication with clients and vendors.
