Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Glass Fabrication Shop Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves precision finishing and polishing of glass components to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, manufacturing, and quality control, with experience operating various tools and machinery. Responsibilities
- Operate polishing equipment and machinery to achieve desired surface finishes on glass products
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to inspect finished surfaces for quality compliance
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications and tolerances
- Set up and program CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming tools like Fanuc controllers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and quality control procedures
- Ability to work safely around machinery, including glass polishing machines and other fabrication tools
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
