Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Office Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, including order entry, updating order statuses, generating reports, creating custom invoices, providing customer service, and assisting with general office duties. The successful candidate should possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Processing & Management:
Accurately enter customer orders into the system.
Update and maintain order records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Provide order status updates to customers and internal teams.
Report Generation & Invoicing:
Prepare and generate reports as needed for customers and management.
Create and process custom invoices based on customer specifications.
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person communication.
Resolve order-related issues efficiently and professionally.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
General Office Duties:
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other clerical tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree preferred.
Prior experience in an office or clerical role is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with a professional and friendly demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
