ASCO Aerospace Canada is a division of Montana Aerospace, with our facility located in Delta, BC. We are looking for Assembler to join our Production team.

Job Duties

Drill, ream, fit, and assemble a variety of detail aerospace parts according to customer specifications.
Installation of bushings, bearings, brackets, clips, bolts, and rivets using a variety of hand and power tools
Installation of fasteners
Application of sealants
Support 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes

Educational/Experience Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous, related work in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
Preference for candidates with hands-on experience using hand and power tools
Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
Experience with blue-print reading is a strong asset
Experience with Aerospace specification and Quality system requirements is a strong asset
Ability to work safely in an industrial environment, including safe operation of hand and power tools
Must be willing to work as part of a team
Ability to work shifts including day, afternoons, nights, and weekends

This is a physically demanding job and requires the following:

Excellent hand and eye coordination
Good written and spoken English
Ability to work on complex assembly for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 40lbs
Use of hand and power tools
