Due to continued growth and our long-standing commitment to exceptional customer service, ALPA Equipment Ltd is currently seeking a dynamic, motivated, and driven individual to join our parts team at our Truro, NS location.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

At ALPA, we take pride in going the extra mile for our customers, and our Parts Clerks play a vital role in delivering that dependable, personalized service our clients have trusted for decades.

Reporting to the After-Sales Manager, the Parts Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory, stocking, and issuing parts and supplies to both internal and external customers. This position requires a highly organized, customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES

Be a 1st line support for parts sales; on the phone or at the parts counter
Enter receipt and distribution of parts in the computer system
Conduct periodic physical inventory to assure proper availability of required stock, replenish stock as shipments arrive
Issue replacement parts to customers
Issue replacement parts to mechanics (internally)
Assemble and fill orders as requested
Check parts catalogue for proper part identification
Fill out all vendor, customer and supplier documentation
Coordinate transfer of parts to other branches

REQUIREMENTS

Education, experience, and skills required

High school diploma or equivalent e
Other combinations of work/education equivalence may be considered.
Knowledge of parts and heavy equipment
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
Good computer and systems knowledge
Ability to work in an environment of changing priorities.
Ability to work 40 + hours per week, availability evenings and weekends

Relevant du gestionnaire d’après-vente, le ou la commis aux pièces sera responsable de gérer l’inventaire, de placer les commandes et de fournir les pièces et fournitures aux clients internes et externes. Ce poste s’adresse à une personne organisée, orientée vers le service à la clientèle et capable d’évoluer dans un environnement dynamique et en constante évolution.

RESPONSABILITES SPÉCIFIQUE

Assurer un soutien de première ligne pour les ventes de pièces, par téléphone ou au comptoir des pièces.
Entrer la réception et la distribution des pièces dans le système informatique.
Effectuer des inventaires physiques périodiques afin de s'assurer de la bonne disponibilité du stock requis et réapprovisionner le stock à mesure que les livraisons arrivent.
Livraisons des pièces de rechange aux clients
Livraisons des pièces de rechange aux mécaniciens (en interne)
Assembler et remplir les commandes selon les besoins
Vérifier le catalogue des pièces pour une identification correcte des pièces
Remplir tous les documents relatifs aux fournisseurs et aux clients.
Coordonner le transfert des pièces à d'autres succursales

EXIGENCES

Formation, expérience et compétences requises

Diplôme d'études secondaires ou expérience équivalente
D'autres combinaisons d'équivalence travail/éducation peuvent être considérées.
Connaissance des pièces et de l'équipement lourd
Excellentes compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles
Bonne connaissance des ordinateurs et des systèmes
Capacité à travailler dans un environnement où les priorités changent.
Capacité à travailler 40 + heures par semaine, disponibilité les soirs et les week-ends
