Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Previous experience with POS systems, along with restaurant or food industry background, is highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a memorable experience for our patrons while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
Use POS systems for order entry, billing, and cash handling
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Manage cash transactions accurately and handle cashiering responsibilities
Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
Assist in serving food when required and support overall restaurant operations
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry standards
Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and cashiering
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests

Bartender Qualifications:

1+ years of bartending experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be of legal drinking age
AGLC ProServe Liquor Certificate
AGLC ReelFacts Certificate
Ability to multitask
Positive and friendly attitude
Must be able to stand for 8-hour shifts
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
