Depuis 1985, Les Plastiques Moulin se spécialise dans le moulage de produits pour certaines des plus grandes entreprises nord-américaines dans les secteurs des articles ménagers, des jouets et du transport. L’entreprise est devenue l’un des plus grands mouleurs par injection du Québec.

LE POSTE :

L’Assembleur‑Inspecteur est responsable d’inspecter, corriger et assembler des pièces en plastique afin d’assurer leur conformité aux normes de qualité de l’entreprise et des clients.

Il effectue également l’étiquetage et l’emballage des produits selon les instructions de travail, tout en réalisant des contrôles qualité réguliers.

Le travail se fait à une station de travail fixe ou en rotation entre plusieurs machines. Aucune connaissance mécanique n’est requise, puisque le poste n’inclut pas l’opération, l’entretien ou le réglage des machines.

Ce poste est offert dans le cadre de notre période estivale pour combler des besoins liés à notre saison occupée, avec possibilité de prolongation en emploi régulier selon les besoins opérationnels et la performance.

Horaire

37.5h/semaine
Quart de nuit : Lundi au vendredi (00:00 - 8h00) - Terminant le Samedi matin à 8h00
Quart de soir : Lundi au vendredi (16:00 - 00:00)

Salaire

Taux horaire de 19,26 $ à 22,13 $, selon l’expérience + prime de quart
Prime de nuit = $2.33/h
Prime de soir =$1.16/h

Quels seront vos tâches?

Inspecter et corriger les pièces en plastique (défauts, ébavurage, nettoyage)
Assembler, étiqueter et emballer les produits selon les spécifications
Effectuer les contrôles qualité et suivre les instructions de travail
Maintenir le rythme de production et effectuer la rotation entre les postes
Aider les collègues lorsque la cadence varie ou lorsque du soutien est requis
Maintenir un poste de travail propre et sécuritaire
Signaler rapidement toute anomalie, non‑conformité ou enjeu de production
Respecter les politiques, procédures, normes de santé et sécurité et initiatives d’amélioration continue
Effectuer des tâches connexes telles que le montage de boîtes et la palettisation

Qualification

Expérience en milieu manufacturier
Bonne dextérité manuelle et souci du détail
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à s’adapter rapidement aux différents postes
Attitude positive et bon esprit d’équipe
Fiabilité et assiduité

Exigences Physiques :

Travail comportant des tâches répétitives
Travail principalement debout avec déplacements fréquents entre les machines
Mouvements fréquents des bras, des mains et des poignets
Mouvements de flexion, de torsion et position penchée
Capacité à soulever et manipuler des charges généralement d’environ 20 lb ou moins
Travail en environnement manufacturier (bruit, chaleur variable)
Capacité à porter les équipements de protection individuelle (EPI) requis

WHO WE ARE :

Since 1985, Windmill Plastics has focused on molding products for some of North America’s largest houseware, toy, and transport companies, and has grown to be one of Québec’s largest injection molders.

THE POSITION :

The Assembler‑Inspector is responsible for inspecting, correcting, and assembling plastic parts to ensure they meet company and customer quality standards.

They also perform labeling and packaging of products according to work instructions, while carrying out regular quality checks.

The work is performed at a fixed workstation or by rotating between multiple machines. No mechanical knowledge is required, as the role does not involve operating, maintaining, or adjusting machines.

This position is offered as part of our summer season to support increased operational needs during our busy period, with the possibility of ongoing employment based on performance and business requirements.

Schedule :

37.5 hours/week
Night shift: Monday to Friday (12:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.), ending Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m.
Evening shift : Monday to Friday (4h00 pm - Midnight)

Salary

Hourly rate of $19.26 to $22.13, according to relevant experience + shift premium
Night shift premium = $2.33/hour
Evening shift premium = $1.16/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and correct plastic parts (defects, trimming, cleaning)
Assemble, label, and package products according to specifications
Perform quality checks and follow work instructions
Maintain production pace and rotate between workstations as required
Assist coworkers when production pace varies or support is needed
Maintain a clean and safe workstation
Report any anomalies, non-conformities, or production issues promptly
Follow company policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
Perform related tasks such as box assembly and palletizing

Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to different tasks and workstations
Positive attitude and strong team spirit
Reliable and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements:

Work involving repetitive tasks
Work primarily performed standing with frequent movement between machines
Frequent use of arms, hands, and wrists
Bending, twisting, and working in a leaned-forward position
Ability to lift and handle loads typically up to approximately 20 lbs
Work in a manufacturing environment (noise, varying temperatures)
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
