Automotive Sales Consultant

Muskoka Chrysler | Bracebridge, Ontario

The Opportunity

Muskoka Chrysler is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join our sales team in Bracebridge.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience, and is motivated to build a successful career in automotive sales. The successful candidate will assist customers with both new and pre-owned vehicles while developing long-term relationships that encourage repeat and referral business.

Automotive experience is an asset, but we also welcome candidates with strong sales, hospitality, retail, or customer-service backgrounds who have the right attitude and are eager to learn.

Job Type - Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule will include weekdays and Saturdays, with flexibility as required to accommodate customer appointments and dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a professional, welcoming, and customer-focused sales experience from initial contact through vehicle delivery and beyond.
Listen to customers and understand their needs, lifestyle, preferences, and budget to help identify the right vehicle.
Develop strong knowledge of our new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram vehicle lineup, as well as our selection of pre-owned vehicles.
Clearly explain vehicle features, technology, options, warranties, and benefits to customers.
Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives.
Respond promptly and professionally to showroom, telephone, email, and online sales inquiries.
Consistently follow up with prospective and existing customers to build lasting relationships and generate repeat and referral business.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and sales activities within the dealership's CRM system.
Work closely with Sales Management and the Finance Department to provide customers with a smooth and efficient purchasing experience.
Assist with vehicle deliveries and ensure customers understand the features and operation of their new vehicle.
Maintain professional presentation of both yourself and the dealership.
Work collaboratively with other departments and members of the sales team.
Meet or exceed individual and dealership sales and customer satisfaction objectives.
Participate in ongoing product knowledge, manufacturer, sales, and dealership training.
Represent Muskoka Chrysler professionally within the dealership and the Muskoka community.

Is organized and able to manage multiple customers, appointments, and follow-up activities.
Is comfortable using computers, email, texting, CRM systems, and other digital sales tools.
Has a positive attitude and contributes to a team-oriented workplace.
Is dependable, accountable, and willing to take ownership of the customer experience.
Is eager to learn and continually improve their product and sales knowledge.

Qualifications

Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and a clean driving record.
Valid OMVIC registration or willingness and ability to obtain registration.
Previous automotive sales experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another performance-driven environment is an asset.
Ability to work Saturdays and flexible hours as required.
