Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to perfection while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques within the food industry.
Proficient in food handling and preparation methods.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality presentation of dishes.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role is preferred but not required.
