Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook/Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Support the serving staff by ensuring timely preparation of dishes for service
Follow food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of shortages or expired items

Requirements

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred; restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and cooking methods
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on serving guests with professionalism and courtesy
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
Passion for food industry trends and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals

Pay: $16.13-$22.94 per hour
