Position Title: Auto Parts Store Shipper/Receiver

Location: Lincoln, ON

Type of Employment: Full-time permanent

Number of vacancies: 1

Compensation: $18.00-20.00 per hour, based on experience, plus comprehensive group benefits

Hours:

40 to 44 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Occasional Saturdays

Position Summary

As the Shipper/Receiver, the individual will be required to efficiently check, pick, pack, receive, ship, stock and organize automotive parts. They will help maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store. They will be required to dispatch drivers and reliably deliver parts to our valued customers. The successful candidate will also assist with completing any necessary paperwork in an accurate manner. Effective use of resources, such as the Company database and parts catalogue will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Support all store warehouse duties (picking orders, receiving, inventory control, shipping, stocking and organizing)
Co-ordinate the drivers for effective dispatching of vehicles
Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto delivery vehicles
Efficiently deliver parts, being mindful of customer requests
Help control inventory and ensure product availability
Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
Conduct follow-up calls to customers as necessary
Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate manner
Collaborate with the main warehouse to resolve stock-related concerns
Maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, sanitize, and mop)
Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team

Key Requirements

G Driver’s License and a clean 3-year abstract required
Picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, stock maintenance and/or driver dispatching experience preferred
Familiarity and knowledge of the local area preferred
Aftermarket automotive parts knowledge/experience is an asset
Customer service experience is an asset
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Basic math skills and ability to sort alphanumerically
Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use Outlook, online database and web-based training)

Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, lift and bend on a regular basis
