Full job description

Do you love driving truck but hate being away from home all the time? You might be perfect for our open positions for local Truck Drivers. If you live, or have a place to stay, in or around Hinton, AB, we want to talk to you. We’re looking for safe, courteous drivers to join our team. Our competitive compensation package includes above industry standard base wage, overtime, vacation pay, and employee benefits program.

Responsibilities:

- Safely deliver ready mixed concrete, gravel, and/or other commodities to various clients in our local service area

- Undertake and complete associated work as directed such as washing of truck and other work related to the company’s operation

- Maintain assigned equipment in a clean, presentable, and safe manner at all times, both inside and out

- Complete and submit daily trip inspections and other required paperwork

- Observe and report major and minor equipment defects per Alberta Transportation - Schedule 1 criteria

- Follow routes and routines as directed to ensure utmost efficiency

- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public

- Comply with all Alberta Transportation and in-house regulations and rules

- Other associated tasks and duties as required

Required Skills and Experience:

- High school diploma/GED

- Class 1, Class 2, or Class 3 driver’s license in good standing. Must have air endorsement

- Clear or near-clear driver’s abstract. Applicant must provide fresh abstract at time of hiring

- Previous commercial driving experience required

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
