Job Title: Production Assembler

Location: Saanichton, BC

Pay rate: $23.50/hr + $5 shift differential for entire shift Shifts Available:

Shift: Monday-Friday

Monday night 10:00pm - 6:00am Saturday morning.

Will need to train in the morning shift - 6:15am to 2:15pm (3 weeks)

Aerotek is hiring multiple entry-level production assemblers. In this role, you will process, clean, install, assemble, verify, test, or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies across single or multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

Operate shop equipment and tools as applicable.
Adhere to environmental and safety procedures associated with production processes.
Utilize work instructions, drawings, methods, diagrams, workmanship standards, or other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures.
Monitor and record documentation to meet quality requirements.
Follow production build rates, schedules, and meet time standards.

Essential Skills

Ability to perform general labor and use hand tools.
Capability to stand for 8 hours and perform repetitive work.
Strong motivation to work and excel in the role.
High school diploma.
Proficient in written, verbal, reading, and math skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to use tools effectively.
Willingness to work AM or GY shifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexible and a team player.
Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.

Work Environment

This position offers training in the AM and will move to GY after 3 weeks of training - shift Monday night 10:00 pm - 6:00 am Saturday morning. Employees are provided with two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute break. The work environment is structured yet flexible, fostering teamwork.
