Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and the ability to work on residential and industrial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine painting requirements.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for both residential and industrial projects.
Perform drywall repairs and ensure surfaces are smooth and ready for painting.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, to ensure project specifications are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, or industrial painting.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is preferred.
Strong skills in caulking and drywall repair techniques.
Familiarity with various power tools used in the painting process.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
