Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant food industry environment, focusing on creating beautiful and delicious baked goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in baking, food preparation, and customer service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This position is perfect for someone with kitchen experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in delivering high-quality products.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards
Package baked goods securely for retail or delivery purposes
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about our offerings
Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and ingredients as needed

Requirements

Previous experience in baking and food preparation is required
Bakery or kitchen experience is preferred, especially within the food industry
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with food packaging and presentation techniques is a plus
Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies or baked goods
A passion for baking, culinary arts, and creating visually appealing desserts
