Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to help individuals improve their health and quality of life through therapeutic touch and personalized care. A strong focus on customer service and effective communication is essential to ensure a positive client experience.

Duties

Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities
Assess client concerns and develop customized treatment plans to address specific issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or lifestyle adjustments
Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress in accordance with licensing requirements
Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism at all times
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care when necessary

Requirements

Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Strong communication skills to effectively listen to clients’ needs and explain treatment procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
Prior experience in a spa or clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends if required
