Within the context of a patient and family centred care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision and values of the organization, works in a team based environment and provides clinical dietetic services to patients and patient care programs through the assessment, planning, implementing and outcome evaluation of nutritional goals and care plans. Provides recommendations based on assessment and treatment modalities regarding oral and/or enteral nutrition support regime. Collaborates with members of the health care team and participates in practice-based research projects.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience

Current full registration as a Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).

Restricted Activities A and/or C, as required.
RA- A & C:
Demonstrated competency in designing, compounding, dispensing and administering enteral nutrition (formerly know as Restricted Activity A and C). Although separate restricted activity declarations are no longer required under HPOA, these competencies remain essential and ongoing to this role. Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes, as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of clinical dietetic theory and practice within a patient and family centred model of care.

Knowledge of the standards of practice and guidelines for clinical practitioners established by the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
