Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Experience with dealership procedures, welding, and schematic reading is highly valued. The Automotive Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by providing reliable and timely vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive automotive repairs including engine diagnostics, brake service, suspension work, and electrical troubleshooting
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose vehicle issues
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Assist with assembly of vehicle components and replacement parts as needed
Follow safety protocols for heavy lifting and the use of power tools to ensure a safe working environment
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used

Requirements

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic, preferably with dealership experience
Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for diagnostics and repairs
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
Knowledge of automotive repair standards and safety regulations
Prior experience with vehicle maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting is preferred

Pay: $22.04-$32.83 per hour
