Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist to join our beauty salon team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and other beauty treatments, while ensuring a relaxing experience for clients. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a commitment to sanitation and safety standards. The Nail Technician/Beauty Therapist will also have opportunities to upsell products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art.
Provide additional beauty treatments including body waxing as needed.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in compliance with health regulations.
Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering professional advice, and creating a welcoming environment.
Upsell retail products and promote additional services to clients to enhance their experience.
Assist clients with product selection and provide information on nail care and skincare tips.
Ensure proper documentation of services provided and maintain accurate client records.
Keep the work area organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or Beauty Therapist with relevant certifications/licenses.
Proficiency in nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, gel applications, acrylics, and nail art.
Knowledge of body waxing procedures is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients.
Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols in all treatments performed.
Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
