Full job description

DESCRIPTION

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery used within our sawmill operations. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

DUTIES

Key Responsibilities:

Work cohesively with maintenance and production team to resolve production issues.
Develop and provide preventative electrical support.
Communicate with supervisor regarding any electrical issues.
Perform other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certification.
Valid Class 5 Drivers license
Must be available to work various shifts - Days, Afternoons, and Graveyards
Minimum of 2 years Sawmill/Planer experience.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently follow safe work practices and procedures.
Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work both independently, or in a team environment.
Must be in good physical condition.
Solid background in heavy industry.
Must be willing to relocate to Mackenzie.
