The Manager, Microsoft Software Sales leads a regional team of Microsoft Business Specialists responsible for driving Microsoft software growth across Canada. This role owns all-up Microsoft software forecasting and sales performance within their territory — ensuring disciplined execution, accurate forecasting, and a consistent customer experience.
Beyond software sales, the Manager plays a key role in identifying and attaching Compugen’s deployment and adoption services, helping customers realize the full value of their Microsoft technology investments.
Lead and Empower the Team
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Microsoft Business Specialists.
Set clear sales goals, activity expectations, and forecast accountability across all accounts.
Build a culture of collaboration, ownership, and customer focus.
Support professional growth through ongoing coaching and enablement.
Drive Sales and Forecast Accuracy
Own the all-up Microsoft software forecast for your territory, ensuring accuracy and visibility.
Conduct regular pipeline reviews and business cadence meetings to maintain sales momentum.
Oversee opportunity qualification, quote validation, and margin setup for accuracy and timeliness.
Identify new opportunities for expansion, renewal, and service attach across customer segments.
Engage Customers and Microsoft Partners
Support key customer engagements and executive-level discussions to advance complex opportunities.
Partner closely with Microsoft field teams to align priorities, pursue co-sell opportunities, and track incentive performance.
Position Compugen’s deployment and adoption services as integral to software success.
Represent Compugen in Microsoft business reviews and planning sessions.
Operational and Business Excellence
Ensure operational consistency in reporting, incentive auditing, and Partner Center activity.
Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Marketing to drive effective execution and customer delivery.
Monitor Microsoft program and product changes and communicate their impact to internal teams.
Maintain a data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging CRM and analytics tools for insight and action.
7+ years of experience in software or technology sales, including 3+ years leading a quota-carrying team.
Strong understanding of Microsoft’s commercial business, programs, and field alignment.
Proven ability to drive predictable revenue growth through disciplined forecasting and execution.
Experience positioning deployment, migration, or adoption services alongside software sales.
Exceptional communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in CRM and forecasting tools (Dynamics 365, Power BI, Excel).
