Support the growth of a premium supplier of residential doors, mouldings, and architectural hardware serving custom home builders and renovators across Southern Ontario.
Reporting to the CEO, the Sales Manager will be responsible for driving company-wide sales growth while also managing your own portfolio of builder and renovation clients. This role combines hands-on business development with sales leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and holding sales representatives accountable to performance targets, managing pipeline activity, and supporting the continued growth of the sales department.
You will spend your time building relationships with custom builders, visiting jobsites, generating new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with estimating, purchasing, production, and administrative teams to ensure projects move smoothly from quote through fulfillment.
This is an in-office, permanent, full-time role based in Southern Ontario, with occasional travel to client offices and jobsites throughout the region.
Industry and product knowledge will be supported through hands-on onboarding and training alongside leadership and senior team members. What cannot be taught is the ability to build relationships, create opportunities, and drive revenue growth.

Compensation: $85,000 - $90,000 base salary plus commission structure

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Generate new business opportunities through jobsite visits, referrals, builder offices, networking, prospecting, and relationship development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with custom home builders, renovators, and residential construction professionals
- Manage your own sales pipeline while driving company-wide sales performance
- Lead weekly sales meetings and support the accountability and development of the sales team
- Coach and mentor sales representatives through KPI tracking and performance reviews
- Maintain accurate CRM activity, opportunity stages, reporting, and client notes within Salesforce
- Oversee the estimating function and support the estimating team with pricing strategy, quote review, and prioritization of opportunities
- Coordinate closely with estimating, purchasing, production, and shipping teams to ensure successful project execution
- Gather and review project specifications including hardware requirements, machining details, schedules, and drawings
- Support special-order sourcing and ensure all approvals and documentation are completed prior to production
- Track sales activity and performance metrics against company growth targets and individual KPIs
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within construction materials, millwork, doors, hardware, building products, or a related industry
- Strong business development skills with the ability to generate and manage your own pipeline
- Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching sales teams is considered a strong asset
- Confidence working directly with builders, contractors, and construction professionals
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability
- Comfortable managing CRM systems, pipeline reporting, and sales activity tracking
- Ability to review technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation
- Self-directed and motivated with the ability to operate independently
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Southern Ontario
