Job Summary
We are seeking experienced servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing guests with memorable dining experiences through attentive service, food and beverage knowledge, and professionalism. Prior experience with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS, along with food safety and sanitation practices, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate orders using POS systems like Micros POS, ensuring proper entry and timely communication with kitchen staff
Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
Handle cash and process payments accurately through cashiering systems
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks when necessary to support overall restaurant operations
Manage guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols diligently

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest satisfaction
Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest interactions
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and upselling opportunities
Experience with food handling, preparation, and serving techniques within the food industry
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales potential
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a hospitality setting

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
