Job Overview
Express Employment Professionals are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. This role involves restoring and repairing properties affected by water, fire, mold, or other damages. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in property restoration and contribute to helping clients recover from property damage.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning and debris removal in damaged areas using appropriate techniques and equipment
Utilize hand tools and power tools to remove damaged materials and prepare surfaces for restoration
Assist with construction tasks such as drywall installation, painting, and minor repairs as needed
Operate restoration equipment safely and efficiently to dry out affected areas and prevent mold growth
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout projects
Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients
Support the overall restoration process by performing various tasks as assigned to ensure timely project completion

Experience

Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Willingness to learn new skills related to property restoration processes
