SALES REPRESENTATIVE – MODULAR CONSTRUCTION

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to support existing client relationships, identify new opportunities, and help drive profitable growth across Western Canada.
Position Overview
The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing sales opportunities from initial inquiry through project handoff. Working closely with leadership, project management, and operations, this role will help maintain existing client relationships while pursuing new project opportunities within the modular construction industry.
This position is best suited for someone who understands modular project sales, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by both salary and performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries and sales opportunities
- Prepare project quotes and pricing requests
- Follow up on active opportunities and client requests
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting
- Coordinate with Project Managers on project requirements and project handoff
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support client retention efforts
- Actively source and develop new client relationships across Western Canada
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the modular construction sector
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and proactive outreach
- Schedule and attend client meetings to promote Phoenix Modular's services and capabilities
- Assist in reactivating dormant client accounts
- Monitor market activity, industry trends, and upcoming project opportunities
- Support leadership with strategic sales initiatives and company growth objectives
- Represent Phoenix Modular professionally at client meetings, industry events, and networking functions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in modular construction, construction services, modular installation, portable buildings, workforce accommodations, or related construction industries
- Proven track record in sales, account management, or client relationship management
- Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and industry partners
- Experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously in a project-based environment
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital project management tools
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, etc.) and willing to learn company systems including Smartsheet
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel occasionally within Western Canada as required
