Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for handling multi-line phone systems, data entry, filing, and supporting daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks as needed
Maintain organized filing systems both digitally and physically
Assist with appointment scheduling and calendar management for staff or practitioners
Handle administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and proofreading documents
Support bookkeeping activities including basic invoicing and record keeping
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently
Support medical or dental office operations by managing patient or client check-in/check-out procedures (if applicable)
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and filing tasks
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Clerical experience, including administrative support or front desk responsibilities
Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and office equipment operation
Strong typing skills with accuracy for data entry and proofreading tasks
Previous experience in medical or dental offices is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
