Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handywoman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks. This role requires a versatile individual with a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and appliance repair, as well as excellent customer service skills. The successful applicant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing issues efficiently to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients and management.

Responsibilities

Perform basic task including minor painting, cleaning facilities, and managing maintenance repairs.
Perform repairs on company machinery, equipment, or appliances.
Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs
Regularly check facility spaces to identify issues with mechanical failure or breakdown
Repair minor plumbing, electrical and safety systems
Require Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
Weather maintenance – shovel and clear snow, cleaning parking lot debris, general cleaning of outside of the building.
Partnering with vendors on maintenance of company machinery, where needed.
Provide accurate cost estimates to clients and notify management of major maintenance needs.
Expected to perform any other task designated by the General Manager and the CEO.

Experience

A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in general handyman services or maintenance work
Ability to work with hardware tools
Detail oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
Time management and prioritization
Must have a vehicle and valid driver's license
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Prior experience in appliance repair or assembly is beneficial
Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and provide effective solution

Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, the results of which must be satisfactory to the Company in its sole discretion.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
