Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items
Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients and maintaining station readiness
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene and safety compliance
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
Assist in setting up workstations for meal service and ensuring all supplies are stocked and organized
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment

Skills

Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Basic understanding of food preparation, handling, and cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards

Pay: $16.60-$23.15 per hour
