Summary

This position is a lifestyle. Starting in the spring, it’s possible you’ll be on the road for close to 2 weeks at a time, with plenty of hours to work within the season so if you’re looking for LOTS OF WORK, this is a great opportunity. On days when the weather isn’t cooperating, you will still get hours while focusing on general maintenance & cleaning of the trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities

Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met
Operate Skip box’s/Monitoring systems while performing painting of new/existing lines.
Operate Forklifts/Loaders
Lay out and pre mark on new and existing asphalt, Following plans/drawings
Set up and take down Traffic control including flagging operations as per OTM book7
Maintain accurate documentation – driver logs, fuel records, time sheets etc.
Facilitate healthy work environment
Maintain/Clean equipment as required and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Excellent team player to work productively in a highly functional team
Willingness to work assigned day and night shifts
Ability to travel and extended stays when required

Ability to perform minor repairs on the equipment are considered an asset
Ability to lift 50 pounds and mechanically inclined
Previous experience in highway painting and maintenance with knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control will be given preference
Class G License
