Job Title: Drywall Boom Truck Driver/Yard Associate – Full-Time

Rate of Pay: $30.00 per hour

Incentive program: Drywall carry-in bonus program -We offer a drywall carry incentive of $0.50 per sheet; this is a discretionary bonus and not part of regular wages or guaranteed weekly earnings.

Hours: up to 42.5 hours per week

HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

7:30am am to 3:00pm (Occasional Saturday)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Brae-Con Building Supplies/BMR Pro is seeking a Drywall Boom Truck Driver / Yard Associate responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of drywall and building materials using a boom truck, while also supporting daily yard operations. This role also involves operating a Moffett (truck-mounted forklift), staging and preparing customer orders, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive yard environment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Boom Truck Operation

· Operate a drywall boom truck to deliver materials to residential and commercial job sites

· Safely place drywall using boom controls in designated areas (upper floors, tight access points, etc.)

· Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

· Ensure all loads are properly secured and compliant with transportation regulations

· Provide professional and courteous customer service on job sites

· Operate company equipment responsibly, including a newly updated boom truck fleet

Moffett (Truck-Mounted Forklift) Operation

· Safely operate Moffett to load and unload materials at the yard and job sites

· Deliver materials where boom access is not required

· Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues promptly

Yard Operations

· Pick, build, and stage orders accurately based on sales or dispatch requests

· Load customer and contractor vehicles safely and efficiently

· Assist with inventory control, stock organization, and maintaining yard cleanliness

· Collaborate with sales and dispatch teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ required)

· Valid 0–8-ton mobile crane certificate

· Clean driver’s abstract

· Experience operating a drywall boom truck is an asset

· Truck mounted forklift/forklift certification or willingness to obtain

· Knowledge of building materials preferred

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Strong attention to safety and detail

· Effective communication and customer service skills

· Health & Safety Compliance

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift 50–100 lbs on a regular basis

· Frequent standing, walking, bending, and heavy lifting

Work Environment

· Combination of driving, outdoor yard work, and job site deliveries

· Exposure to weather, dust, and active construction environments

· Fast-paced, team-oriented lumber yard setting

· Successful candidates will operate a newer model boom truck as part of their daily responsibilities.
