Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. You will be responsible for assisting with medication preparation, inventory management, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the pharmacy environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for patient care and a desire to contribute to the health and well-being of the community.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols.
Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed professionals.
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with medical standards.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient care services.

Skills

Previous experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties is an asset.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
Ability to assist in medication administration while adhering to safety guidelines.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
