Job Description:

This rare opening for a Group 3M/PPF Installer just came available! This position will travel between Audi Royal Oak, Land Rover Royal Oak, Macleod Trail Toyota, and our newly purchased Mercedes-Benz South Calgary location!

If you are an experienced 3M Installer, we would love to hear from you! This position pays $35-45 an hour plus bonus!

Overview

The 3M/PPF Installer and Automotive Detailer cleans and refurbishes the insides and outsides of new and used automobiles and installs 3M Products.

Primary Duties

Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, liability or integrity of any dealership staff, guests, or the dealership itself or the company
Be a leader in your own role and assist others in their growth, development, and sense of community with the team
Protect the legal and financial welfare of the dealership
Maintain the utmost legal, moral, and ethical standards with all customers and coworkers
Attendance at Go University and/or manufacture training as requested by management

Responsibilities

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Wash vehicle exterior, using cleaning solution, water, cloths, and brushes
Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine
Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris, using vacuum cleaner
Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices
Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime
Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following recommendations of the product's manufacturer
Apply protection products (paint sealant, Fabric and Leather Protection, Undercoating and Rust Inhibitors)
Install/apply 3M/PPF Products
Fuel Sold vehicles
Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation
Inspect incoming new vehicles to detect damage while removing transportation protective shipping wrap (Lot Lines)
Park all vehicles in assigned areas
Always keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools
Understand and follow federal, provincial, and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
Dealership and customer vehicles are never to be used to run personal errands
Accurately track and document work performed
Maintain a Class 5 Driver’s License
Perform other duties as assigned by management
