Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Office Manager to oversee daily operations within our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, experience with dental office procedures, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional healthcare environment, ensuring smooth patient flow and effective office management.

Duties

Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and cancellations using Dentrix or similar practice management software
Maintain and update electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
Handle billing, coding, and insurance claims processing in compliance with healthcare regulations
Assist with human resources functions including staff scheduling, onboarding, and training supervision
Coordinate communication between patients, dental staff, and external vendors
Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, including HIPAA regulations
Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and office materials
Support billing and budgeting activities to optimize office efficiency
Supervise administrative staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff

Skills

Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software and electronic medical records systems
Strong understanding of dental terminology office procedures
Experience in human resources management within a Dental office setting
Background in dental office administration
Supervising experience in an office environment
Knowledge of billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and budgeting processes
Familiarity with Dental regulations such as ODA , RCDSO and workplace standards
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and external partners
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and workflows

This position is integral to maintaining the efficiency of our dental practice while providing exceptional service to our patients. We value candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in healthcare administration.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
