Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC laser cutting and a strong mechanical background. This role involves operating laser cutting machines, ensuring quality output, and adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency.
Perform CNC programming to set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute production tasks accurately.
Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist in the assembly of components as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report any issues promptly.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC laser cutting or related manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with forklift operation, plasma cutting, welding, and machining is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production tasks.
Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools for quality inspection.
Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
Experience with quality inspection processes to ensure product integrity.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
