Location: Windsor, ON

Description

The position suits a high energy, proactive team player with the ability to develop proposal and working drawings in a fast-paced environment. Sharing our commitment to project quality and client satisfaction in a design-build atmosphere, the successful candidate will be able to work in a team environment with guidance from senior staff.

Responsibilities

Architectural designing, drafting/detailing including but not limited to:
- Preparation and production of Architectural and/or structural based drawings such as:
  - Architectural Site Plans
  - Architectural Floor Plans, Reflective Ceiling, Roof Plans and details
  - Building cross-sections and details
  - Room, Door and Window Schedules
  - Steel roof framing plans, Wall framing elevations
  - Foundation plans
- Coordinate any revisions/mark-ups of working drawings.
- Liaison with sales, estimating, and project management departments, as required for the purpose of preparing working drawings.

Skill Requirements

Successful applicant will have minimum 1- 5 years’ experience.
Strong organizational and communications skills.
Strong construction techniques and practices knowledge would be considered an asset.
Working knowledge of the O.B.C. would be considered an asset.
Must have high knowledge and skills with drawing application programs in AutoCad and/or Architectural Desktop. Knowledge of other software such as Outlook, Word and Excel
