Electronics Assembler

Measurements International Limited
Prescott, ON

Measurements International Limited (MI) is a global leader in high-precision electrical metrology and electronic test instrumentation. We design and manufacture advanced measurement systems used by national metrology institutes, calibration laboratories, and industrial customers worldwide.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Electronics Assembler to support the assembly of precision electronic instruments and systems.

Job Type

Full-time, permanent
On-site (Prescott, ON)

Key Responsibilities

Perform soldering (through-hole and surface mount as applicable) to IPC standards
Assemble electronic sub-assemblies and finished products according to drawings, work instructions, and procedures
Install components such as PCBs, wiring harnesses, connectors, and mechanical hardware
Read and follow schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation
Inspect assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and quality
Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or documentation discrepancies
Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area
Work closely with production, test, and quality teams to meet build schedules

Required Qualifications

Experience in electronics assembly or a related manufacturing environment
Ability to read assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
Basic soldering skills and good manual dexterity
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow written instructions and procedures accurately

Preferred Qualifications

Electronics diploma, certificate, or relevant technical training
IPC soldering certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with precision or low-noise electronic instruments
Familiarity with ESD handling requirements
