Full job description

We're hiring a Machine Builder in Windsor!

Full time, 3 month contract position
Starting at $25/hr, negotiable based on experience
Opportunities for longer placement!

Responsibilities:

Assemble custom industrial automation equipment and mechanical sub-assemblies using engineering drawings and build documentation
Install machine guarding, framework, linear motion components, and mechanical hardware
Perform machine setup, alignment, and mechanical adjustments
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly and fit-up issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting project timelines

Requirements:

Forklift license, experience with operating propane forklift
Experience assembling industrial machinery, automation equipment, or custom mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly prints
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and standard shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
