The Information Technologies is currently seeking a Full-time Regular Senior Analyst, PeopleSoft.
We are currently seeking a PeopleSoft Senior Systems Analyst to join the Information Technologies Group. This position is within the PeopleSoft Application Development team, reporting to the Lead Application Architect, IT Application Development. The team is responsible for the development and sustainment of PeopleSoft Enterprise applications.
The job nature requires well-rounded knowledge of programing, analysis, solution design and architecture. Preference will be given to individuals who have experience in PeopleSoft. Additional preferred skills include technical analysis, developing technical design specifications, development of custom objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
Training will be provided to assist with work arising from issues and problems identified either by the Business or the ERP Working Groups. The Senior Systems Analyst works under the guidance of the Lead Application Architect and is relied upon to mentor and guide junior development resources.
Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to):

Collaborate with the Project team, and extended ERP team of developers, Business Analysts, and ERP Architects to:

Elaborate system requirements for implementing the new modules, and for the successful integration to existing modules
- Identify and develop system enhancements, or business process improvements, to adapt PeopleSoft modules to the target state

Develop technical specifications for these system enhancements and integrations.

Identify and recommend unit and system testing plans for the enhancements

Ensure that all project deliverables are documented, approved and tracked to Project needs
- Implement customisations, including reports, integrations, conversions, and user interface enhancements, identified above

Unit test according to the documented plans
- Provide the release notes and configurations for all changes

Package and migrate changes accordingly
- Ensure all custom objects are developed according to the University Application Development Standards
- Provide technical expertise in implementing, enhancing, and supporting the PeopleSoft Enterprise systems

Provide functional and technical support to identify and resolve problems.

Liaise with Oracle and other vendors when reporting and managing problems with delivered functionality

Ensure delays and changes to the build schedules are identified as early as possible and communicated to the Lead Application Architect

Create process and procedures for configuration and code management.
Qualifications / Requirements:

University Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or recognized technical certification

Minimum of 8-10 years of PeopleSoft Application Development experience

Experience with current versions and modern PeopleTools features such as Update Manager, Data Migration Workbench and Fluid preferred
- Knowledge of the Oracle PeopleSoft Finance/SCM, HCM and Campus Solutions suite of applications, version 9.2 experience is an asset

Proficient in project management, requirements analysis, technical design, development, and testing techniques and tools

Highly professional team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with business and IT professionals at all levels

Experience working collaboratively with other developers, technical analysts, business, and operational staff

Capable of independently managing multiple competing priorities in accordance with best practice

The candidate is expected to work in a hybrid arrangement (2 days remote, 3 days in-person) and must be either a Permanent Resident or a Citizen
