The Role:

We’re looking for an ACD team to help make the work better. You’d join our Toronto office to work on a variety of national (and sometimes international) brands. Job Description:

In partnership with the ACD (Art Direction), the Associate Creative Director works closely with the creative team to produce high-quality work for the agency’s clients. Alongside account service representatives, the Associate Creative Director maintains client contact and presents the team’s creative concepts to client stakeholders. On assigned accounts, the Associate Creative Director provides leadership to art directors and copywriters, in collaboration with the Creative Director. They also work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver and exceed client expectations.

We’re looking for a creative who is forward-looking and excited about growing business while crafting beautifully integrated stories.

What you will do…

Develop ideas for integrated advertising campaigns, including websites, social media, OOH, digital content, broadcast, experiential, and beyond
Create and direct award-worthy work, and serve as the copy expert for assigned brands
Serve as a creative team leader others can look to for direction and solutions
Play a key role in brand planning, creative development, and on-strategy initiatives
Work with all functional areas to ensure the work expresses a compelling, single-minded idea
Collaborate with other departments to develop best practices
Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate solutions effectively
Confidently present and sell ideas based on the brief, in partnership with key stakeholders
Identify staffing needs and support recruitment efforts
Help shape the careers of direct reports and act as a strong mentor, inspiring award-winning creative excellence
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovation to enhance creative output
Support the Creative Director in day-to-day needs

You have…

8+ years of experience in a fast-paced ad agency
Strong understanding of how strategy shapes brand messaging and creative
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A clear, effective, and persuasive presenter
Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining creative integrity
Proven ability to build trust with clients
Previous supervisory experience

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000 per year. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
