Job Summary

The Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Production Manager and Assistant Production Manager in organizing and supervising work in the Production Department. Performs other duties as required and reports to the Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager. pay range from $25-$28/hr

Essential Functions

Assists Assistant Production Manager in monitoring changes in work methods and/or equipment usage to improve labor utilization, production efficiency and department expenses.

Assists in conducting new hire and ongoing trainings in all production departments in conjunction with Team Leads.
Assists in execution of company production policies, procedures and standards.

Assists in monitoring and ensuring that standards for production, quality, housekeeping and safety are met.
Maintains proficiency, and is responsible for training in all of the responsibilities of a Production employee.

Responsible for evaluating tasks and responsibilities of Production employees and recommending recognition and disciplinary actions.

Responsible for coordinating and conducting monthly safety trainings in conjunction with Area Team Leads.
Assists in supervising Area Team Leads to ensure proper execution of tasks as directed by Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager.

Provides feedback and recommendations as needed to Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager.

Follow written and verbal instructions, attend meetings, and perform other tasks as directed by Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager.

Qualifications

Good organizational skills.
Ability to lead, and motivate.
Recognize colors, sizes and types of product. Count, add and subtract accurately.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as good time management skills and being a team player.

Education

High School graduation or similar experience.

Typical Physical Activity

Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving a forklift, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, moving loaded carts weighing up to 500 lbs., reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Recognize colors, sizes and types of product and count, add and subtract accurately.

Typical Environmental Conditions

Production areas of a typical industrial laundry facility which includes variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint and dust.

Travel Requirements

Occasionally, to visit customers or possibly to attend training meetings.

Responsable de la coordination et de la conduite de formations mensuelles sur la sécurité en collaboration avec les Chefs d'équipe de zone.
Aide à superviser les Chefs d'équipe de zone pour assurer la bonne exécution des tâches selon les directives du Directeur de production adjoint et du Directeur de production.

Fournit des commentaires et des recommandations au besoin au Directeur de production adjoint et au Directeur de production.

Suivre les instructions écrites et verbales, assister aux réunions et effectuer d'autres tâches selon les directives du Directeur de production adjoint et du Directeur de production.

Qualifications

- Bonnes compétences organisationnelles. -

Capacité à diriger et à motiver.
Reconnaître les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits. Compter, ajouter et soustraire avec précision.
Bonnes compétences en communication verbale et écrite en Anglais, capacité à comprendre et à suivre la direction, ainsi que de bonnes compétences en gestion du temps et être un joueur d'équipe.

Éducation

Diplôme d'études secondaires ou expérience similaire.

Activité physique typique

Les Exigences physiques consistent à se tenir debout, assis, marcher, se baisser, conduire un chariot élévateur, saisir, déplacer de l'équipement, pousser, tirer, déplacer des chariots chargés pesant jusqu'à 500 lb, lire, parler, entendre et soulever jusqu'à 60 lb.

Reconnaître les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits et compter, ajouter et soustraire avec précision.

Conditions Environnementales Typiques

Zones de production d'une installation de blanchisserie industrielle typique qui comprend des variations de température, d'odeurs, d'humidité, de peluches et de poussière.

Exigences de voyage

Occasionnellement, pour rendre visite à des clients ou éventuellement pour assister à des réunions de formation.
