The nature of delivering clean air leaves little room for compromise and BGE is looking for more people that want to safely deliver clean, healthy indoor air environments because clean air matters!

We are currently looking for an individual who is excited to become an integral part of our Edmonton team as our next Delivery Driver with some time spent in the warehouse as well. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in helping our customers receive goods and services to achieve and maintain clean indoor air.

The day-to-day activities of our Delivery Driver include:

Delivery Driving - safely delivering, unloading and putting away products to onsite customers in various weather conditions. Performing all required pre-trip inspections, maintenance, and check up to always ensure safe operations of company vehicles.
Shipping and Receiving – performing various shipping and receiving tasks, while ensuring orders are picked and packed accurately in a timely manner and to the customer satisfaction.
Commitment to Safety: You demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by maintaining a secure work environment for all team members. This involves participating in the health and safety program, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and diligently documenting any incidents or near misses.

The successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment and drug, cannabis and alcohol tests.
The right candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications on their resume:

Experience with operating a 3-ton or 5-ton with air brakes.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
Prior forklift experience and certification is considered an asset.
Air Brake endorsement is required.
Basic computer skills are required.

During the interview process, we will assess the following:

Manage competing priorities within the warehouse and deliveries to customers.
Keen attention to detail to ensure the right product is delivered to the right customer at the right time.
Provide exceptional service to our customers that they have learned to expect from the BGE team.
Capability to climb ladders, work at heights, and consistently lift up to 23 Kg (50lbs).
Safety focused mindset: Understanding and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures and actively seeking ways to improve safety.
