Full job description

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Manager for a long-term contract. The ideal candidate would have 6+ years experience in this field.

Responsibilities:

Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable user stories and features.
Create and maintain detailed requirements documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it contains well-defined and actionable items.
Collaborate with the development team to refine and estimate backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource constraints.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Collaborate with the development team to plan and schedule product releases, considering scope, timelines, and resource availability.
Engage with stakeholders, customers, and users to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate their input into the product development process.
Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with business requirements and technical constraints.
Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows, proposing improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Plan and execute UAT activities, including test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking, to validate that the system meets the business requirements.
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure adequate test coverage and support the resolution of identified issues.
Provide training and support to stakeholders and end-users to ensure successful adoption of the software products.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, and optimization of business operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience in product ownership/management, business systems analysis, or a related role.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile frameworks, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Relevant certifications in Agile and SAFe methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or SAFe Business Analyst (SAB) are highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation techniques, such as use cases, user stories, and process modeling.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
