Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate has THREE YEARS of experience and is willing to cross the border and will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support the overall maintenance and smooth operation of our fleet.

Duties

Safely operate trucks to transport freight and materials to designated locations within scheduled timeframes
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and issues

Experience

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record
Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus
Knowledge of automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in transportation industry
Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance

Pay: Up to $450.00 per day

Work Location: In person
