Position: Security Guard - Black Suit & Tie (Luxury Retail Boutiques)
Status: Full-Time and Part-Time Permanent
Location: Downtown Toronto
Schedule: 8-10 hours - Day Shifts - Open to Close (Flexibility Required) *
Wage: $18.50 - $19.00 / Hr
**Candidates MUST have their own personal BLACK SUIT and TIE with Black Polishable Dress Shoes.
**Candidate must be able to Stand for extended periods of time.
**Candidates must have a strong working knowledge and understanding of high-level customer service applicable to a High End Luxury Retail Environment.
**Candidate Must be able to work in the Downtown Toronto Core.

As an Elite Security Guard, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the safety and security of our esteemed customers, staff, and premises. What you will do
- Provide a welcoming and professional presence at all entry points and throughout the premises.
- Deter possible external thefts through observation and outstanding customer service.
- Patrol designated areas to detect any suspicious activity.
- Assist customers and staff with courtesy and discretion, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Enforce company and store policies and procedures to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
- Collaborate with store management and fellow team members to address security concerns effectively.
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Exercise tact and common sense in all interactions, handling situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Document security violations and complete incident reports promptly.
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- Quickly respond to security and safety violations, property damage and alarms.
The Ideal Candidate
- A Valid Ontario Security License
- Prior retail security experience is a must.
- Prior customer service experience is required.
- Previous experience in a luxury retail or upscale environment is preferred
- Impeccable grooming and presentation, including attire in a black suit and tie.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact confidently and courteously with diverse individuals.
- Superior observational skills.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Must be willing and comfortable to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift
