Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Rate: $53 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated, experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contractors to join our team in a variety of health care settings across British Columbia. LPNs provide essential nursing services to clients with stable or predictable health conditions across all stages of life. LPNs work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, competent, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to clients with stable or predictable health needs.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor, assess, and document client health status.
Promote health and provide client and family education.
Collaborate with RNs, NPs, physicians, and allied health professionals.
Adhere to BCCNM standards, policies, and LPN Scope of Practice.

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Rate: $72 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated, experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) contractors to deliver advanced primary care across a wide range of settings. NPs act as independent health care providers within their specialized stream (Family, Adult, or Pediatrics), offering assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services, while collaborating within interprofessional teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments and make medical diagnoses.
Prescribe medications, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic treatments.
Manage acute and chronic conditions, including follow-up care.
Provide health education, disease prevention, and counseling services.
Refer to and consult with specialists and other providers as needed.
Ensure compliance with the BCCNM NP Scope of Practice and regulatory policies.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Rate: $63 per hour

Job Summary:

RNs provide complex, patient-centered care independently or as part of a team, guided by the RN Scope of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct holistic nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and perform clinical procedures.
Support patients and families through education and emotional care.
Collaborate with the broader health care team to coordinate services.
Supervise and support LPNs and unregulated care providers as appropriate.

Provide specialized care in remote, rural, or underserved areas.
Promote health and prevent illness through targeted education and services.
Stay current with BCCNM certified practice requirements and recertification.

Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN)

Rate: $63 per hour

Job Summary:

RPNs focus on the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of clients across all life stages, practicing both independently and in collaboration with mental health teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess mental health status and develop therapeutic care plans.
Administer and evaluate psychiatric treatments and medications.
Provide crisis intervention, behavior management, and counseling.
Engage with clients, families, and communities to support mental wellness.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other care professionals.
Uphold BCCNM RPN Scope of Practice, ethics, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Must hold active registration and be in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) under your designated nursing classification.
Minimum of 18 months of relevant work experience for all BC Health Authorities.
Minimum of 24 months of relevant work experience for FNHA Assignments.
Certifications: Basic Life Support(BLS) required to all specialty. Additional certifications, courses and trainings may be required based on assignment and specified specialties.
