ZIWO Pickleball Arena is a modern, community-focused indoor pickleball facility in Ottawa West, designed to provide a welcoming, high-quality, and year-round playing experience for players of all skill levels.

At ZIWO, we are more than a sports facility — we are building a community hub where players can stay active, improve their game, and build meaningful social connections through sport.

Position Summary

The Pickleball Court Assistant & Front Desk Attendant supports the daily operations of the facility by delivering excellent customer service, assisting with court activities, and helping create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for all players and visitors.

This role combines front desk support, customer interaction, court supervision, and program assistance.

Responsibilities

Welcome players and guests while providing friendly and professional customer service
Assist with bookings, check-ins, payments, and general front desk operations
Support daily court operations, including player rotations and court scheduling
Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive playing environment
Answer participant questions and provide basic guidance on facility programs and pickleball etiquette
Support leagues, drop-ins, events, and community programming activities
Monitor facility cleanliness and report maintenance or operational concerns
Address minor customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
Assist with opening and closing duties as required

Qualifications:

Friendly, reliable, and comfortable interacting with people of all ages
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to stay organized and multitask in a busy environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Comfortable handling customer concerns in a professional manner
Interest in sports, recreation, and community engagement
Pickleball knowledge or playing experience is preferred but not required
Previous customer service, recreation, hospitality, or front desk experience is an asset
