Full job description

Part-Time Marketing Assistant

Location: Winnipeg Outfitters
Hours: Part-time 2–3 days per week

Position Type: Entry Level Term position (with possibility of extension based on performance and business needs)
Compensation: $19–$24 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a creative and organized Marketing Assistant to help grow our online presence and engage with our audience across multiple social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule regular posts across social media channels
Create engaging content, including written copy, photos, graphics, and short-form videos
Develop content ideas that align with our brand and marketing goals
Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages as required
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and brand voice
Assist and collaborate with promotional campaigns, contests, and product launches with the marketing team.
Track basic performance metrics and provide feedback on content effectiveness

Qualifications:

Experience managing social media accounts for a business or organization
Strong writing and communication skills
Ability to create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
Basic video editing and content creation skills
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools is an asset

What We’re Looking For: A recent graduate of a Marketing or Creative Communications program. Someone who is creative, reliable, and understands how to create content that captures attention and drives engagement. If you’re passionate about social media and enjoy bringing ideas to life, we’d love to hear from you.
